A Prism

I'm back with another card featuring a few products from the newest collection from Catherine Pooler, Zen Garden? Not only were fabulous stamps, dies a stencil released, but eight fabulous new ink colors as well, which I'm mainly showcasing today. I am still constantly inspired by fellow crafters out there, and appreciate that they take the time to showcase their cards and make videos. The minute after I saw this video at Waffle Flower, created by Channin, I knew that the long line brush stroke stamp from Eat Sleep Create would be perfect for this technique! (affiliate links used)

I started with a base made from Catherine Pooler's Premium Ultra Smooth White Cardstock and applied the Shea Butter inked up stamp in the top left corner, then various other inks from the Zen Garden release opposite. I finished the card with a black die cut sentiment from the Thanks die cut. I wanted to do something a little bit different with the die-cut, so I adhered it to the bottom and cut off the slightest overhang.

Is there anyone that you've been inspired by lately, any videos? I'm always wanting to learn new things and follow fellow crafty bloggers! Please let me know!

  3. What an awesome card, Karen. Not only do I love the bright, cheery colors, but I love how the sentiment goes off the bottom of the page just a bit and that pop of black really makes it stand out.
